Wine and Weather
I’m going to start comparing wines to weather.
Wine writer Meg Maker shared her tasting notes of several Vermont wines, including four of ours. My favorite observation? That La Crescent has notes of “fresh air” along with “dried apricots, peaches, honey, nectar.” (The photo of geese is my best approximation of “fresh air.”)
Or maybe that Marquette has “a serious bass note of earth.” It’s so true, but I never thought of it that way before.
