Our grapes are actually quite sour at the moment, despite their sunny dispositions. They’re growing quickly and filling out, but it’ll be almost another month before sugars start to develop and the colors start to change. For now, they’re hard, green, and very sour– better to look at than to taste. But don’t worry! By harvest in September and October, they’ll be plump, ripe, and deliciously sweet. The growing season is giving us just what we need right now, and we’re looking forward to this vintage.
