We’re hiring both for our tasting room and our vineyard crew this spring! See both jobs below.
Tasting Room Staff – hiring now for 2018
Come learn about new wine and share new wine with new people. Lincoln Peak Vineyard is looking for someone with solid customer service experience for our tasting room for the 2018 season.
The right candidate:
- has a positive attitude
- is cheerful and chatty with customers
- has a basic knowledge of wine (what’s Pinot Noir?) and wants to learn a lot more!
- has the ability to juggle multiple customers’ needs on busy days
- can master our computer sales and shipping programs
- can stand for 6 hours
- can lift 40 pounds (a case of wine!)
Our mission in pouring and selling our wines is two-fold: make wine accessible and enjoyable to more people, and educate them about our particular cold-climate varieties. We aim to create a warm, welcoming, non-intimidating environment for all visitors. In addition to the obvious focus on serving customers, the tasting room job includes daily opening and closing tasks and other projects in the tasting room.
This position is 10-5:30/6:00 Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The full season is required May through October. (There may be an option to keep some hours through December.) Pay is commensurate with experience starting at $15/hour plus tips. (Tips can be quite good! You’ll regularly end up making more than $15.) To apply, please email [email protected] with a cover letter and resume; or your contact information, your customer service experience, your availability from May through December, and several employer references (with name and number).
Vineyard Crew – hiring in May/June for 2018
We’re looking for a positive, punctual farm crew who can do physical work outdoors six hours a day. The job runs the last week (or so) of May and the first week of June; and also from just after July 4th to early/mid-August (about 4-5 weeks). There is also the option of continuing work on our harvest crew (see below).
We work Mon-Thu starting at 7:30 or 8:00 am. Pay is commensurate with experience starting at $13/hour. To apply, please email [email protected] with:
-your contact information
-your farm work experience
-your availability from July through mid-August
-several employer references (with name and number)
